WORK
SAMPLES

These highlighted pieces are not sorted by project or medium, but they represent my artistic sensibilities. I enjoy using 2D and 3D techniques together so I can always pick the right tool and method for each piece I work on.

The Dark Crystal: VisDev & Storyboards

Based on Jim Henson's "The Dark Crystal," I experimented with how to adapt the setting and characters into a 2D animated series using digital puppetry. Taking place long before the events of "The Age of Resistance," this series focuses primarily on the skeksis and examines their disturbing society from an insider’s viewpoint.

Science & Community Impacts Mapping Project

An overview video explaining SCIMaP's work assessing the impacts of federal research cuts on communities across the United States. The video highlights the imperative to track what has been lost and what we will continue to lose if America steps away from its investments in science and medical research.

Dinoverse

I developed the concept for a series of animated shorts produced for social media. It started off as an idea for an animated card inspired by Easter eggs...but ended up in a totally different direction!

NOVA: Weathering the Future

I was tasked with creating a series of graphics that show how the climate is changing and how people around the USA are coming up with solutions to the challenges facing their unique geographic regions.

Shark Week 2023: Jaws vs Meg

The Pixeldust team was responsible for crafting a broadcast TV animation for Hazmat Productions’ Jaws vs Meg, which aired during Discovery Shark Week in 2023. The highlight of the show was the two-minute battle sequence that shows who may have come out on top if these infamous creatures were to battle it out. Responsible for 3D animation of the characters, props, and cameras.

Tell Me How I Died

Pixeldust worked with A&E to create a graphics package for their investigative forensic series, "Tell Me How I Died." The show highlights forensic pathologists as their work holds the key to uncovering the truth behind suspicious deaths.
